​True Life Audio traces its roots right back to 1957, when its founder began designing and building high quality precision transformers for demanding broadcast, military, medical and industrial applications. By the early 1980's the company was creating transformers specifically for audio applications and quickly built a reputation for its reference level sound.

After many years exploring design optimisation of amplifier circuits and having built and tested countless iterations, the company launched it's first amplifier range under its new 'True Life Audio' brand in 1995.​

 

After almost 70 years and three generations of the same family, the company has refined its craft in audio amplification design to a true art form. Perfecting its long term goal of musical reproduction that is, as its very name suggests, true to life.
